Today I am still grateful for weekend getaways.
I spent the weekend with my three besties (for life) sneakily running away for the weekend, including an orchestrated fake sick day, which was so worth it!
Now this wasn't a get there and really rest weekend, which is what we all needed but it was wonderful. Plus one of us got to put in major friend points by celebrating two long distance birthdays in person.
It's amazing how stepping out of one's life for even a short minute can help reset and give perspective. And if not that at least remind me of what a wonderful friend family I have! Thank you ladies
